Programme

The programme Spring to Summer is performed by the choir Clari Cantores under the direction of Michiel Haspeslagh, together with David Burn on the organ and soprano soloists Dagmara Dobrowolska and Kristien Nijs.

This joyful and light programme celebrates the transition from spring to summer, featuring music that sparkles with joy, reflection, and hope. The repertoire ranges from George Frideric Handel to John Rutter and from Felix Mendelssohn to Karl Jenkins, connecting Baroque grandeur with contemporary sound colours.

With these concerts, we aim to provide a platform for a choir of dedicated amateur singers who, through intensive collective musical work, achieve a high artistic level. Thanks to the choir’s strong roots in the local community of Leuven, these performances also represent an important moment for audience development and local engagement.
